Sales Engineer

Role Overview

Sectigo is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their growing global team. The Sales Engineer will provide technical input, project coordination, and customer management to support the mid-market, enterprise, and eCommerce sales teams. This is a full-time, remote role with a target compensation range of $120,000–$145,000 USD.

What You Will Do

The Sales Engineer will participate in technical demos, proof of concept initiatives, and strategic customer interactions. They will also provide first-level technical support during sales engagements, assist with sales proposals, and collect and communicate customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering from an accredited college, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience OR 1+ years of experience in a pre-sales, technical consulting, or solution engineering role
  • Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Hands-on experience with web servers, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Understanding of basic networking, SSL/TLS, PKI, or web infrastructure concepts
  • Ability and availability to travel: Must be able to travel more than 25% of the time to the assigned regions and/or territories
