Role Overview

At NECI, Account Executives help industrial organizations design, implement, and optimize mission-critical automation and process control systems. This role is suited for a motivated seller with process control industry experience who enjoys working alongside engineers and selling technically complex solutions that directly impact safety, reliability, and operational performance.

What You Will Do

Prospect, engage, and win new customers within a defined territory, collaborate with engineering, product, marketing, and service teams, build trusted relationships with operations, engineering, IT, and business stakeholders, drive opportunities through the full sales lifecycle from discovery through close, and maintain accurate pipeline visibility, forecasting, and opportunity management in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • 3–5 years of sales experience within the process control, industrial automation, or related industrial technology industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Experience supporting or closing complex, solution-based sales cycles
  • Ability to proactively prospect and develop greenfield new business
  • Confidence engaging customers at multiple levels of the organization
  • Strong business acumen with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools; Salesforce experience preferred
