Role Overview
The Manager (Hydro Scheme – Commercial) will support collaboration with engineering, finance, and project management teams during project initiation and planning phases. They will also support feasibility studies, risk assessments, and preliminary designs to assess project viability. Additionally, they will secure investment opportunities for small hydroelectric projects through partnerships and financing models, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and power purchase agreements (PPAs) with clients and stakeholders.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities and outcomes of this role include supporting project development, financial and commercial negotiation, proposal and documentation preparation, sustainability and compliance, HSE management, quality and ISO management, and ensuring project adherence to agreed-upon quality standards.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical or equivalent) from universities recognised by the Government of Malaysia
- Minimum 5 years of working experiences with 2 years’ experience in hydro or other Renewable Energy projects
- Effective communication skills to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to manage diverse stakeholders and meet their expectations
