Role Overview
The Data Analyst will be responsible for analysis for several major game franchises, collecting and analyzing customer data, and responding to analytical questions posed by business and marketing stakeholders. They will provide clear information on consumer behavior, formulate strategic recommendations, and support audience-focused projects throughout the game life cycle.
What You Will Do
The Data Analyst will create, manage, and disseminate data and information using analysis tools, analyze customer data, design and develop player clustering models, maintain and update audience segmentations, and apply various data visualization techniques.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in marketing, research marketing, statistics, or econometrics, experience as a data analyst, and proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis. They will also have strong project management skills, analytical and synthesis skills, and experience working with data lakehouse platforms.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (MA/MBA) in marketing, research marketing, statistics, or econometrics
- Desired experience as a data analyst
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis
- Experience with clustering and segmentation methods (k-means, hierarchical clustering, RFM, or equivalents)
- Strong project management skills: ability to manage multiple work streams, track schedules, and communicate clearly on project progress
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills: ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and formulate strategic and concrete recommendations
- Experience working with data lakehouse platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalents) is an asset
