Senior Salesforce Developer

Role Overview

UCLA Health is seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect/Developer to join our growing digital solutions team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver innovative Salesforce solutions that enhance the experience of patients, prospective patients, providers, and staff across the health system.

What You Will Do

Design, develop, and deliver custom Salesforce solutions, leveraging Apex development, declarative tools, integrations, and third-party applications.

Requirements

• Experience with one, or more, of the following applications: Salesforce Platform Applications: Health Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Agentforce and/or Data Cloud
• Technical Skills required include but are not limited to: Salesforce declarative configuration and set-up, Salesforce Apex development, Lightning Web Component Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and SOQL/SQL
• Knowledge of HL7, FHIR and DICOM Standards
• Experience with Genesys or similar CCaaS desired
• Understanding and learning other programming language and technologies may be necessary
• Tooling skills include but are not limited to: Visual Studio Code, Git/Github, Jenkins/Github Actions, Jira, and Servicenow
• The candidate should understand Object Oriented Programming and standards such as but not limited to REST/SOAP, JSON, YAML, oAuth/JWT and SWAGGER
• Broad and/or in-depth knowledge of multiple areas of focus in application specialty areas
• Ability to research, organize, analyze, and synthesize data to support effective decision-making
• Must be detail oriented and have a knack for probing for information, in order to fully understand the underlying needs that influence how a system should be configured/ organized
• Ability to manage multiple and competing tasks
• Ability to work effectively as a team player and work with people of all backgrounds, at all levels
• Effective leadership skills and strong customer service orientation
• Superior organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to convey technical information to all levels of application users in a specific, clear, and concise manner
• Ability to remain calm in difficult and stressful situations
• Must be able to recognize problems, evaluate, and refer to the appropriate channels for action
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train, support, and work collaboratively with business owners, team members, and management
