Role Overview

Join Valmet’s Service Sales and Operations team as a Sales Manager, leading and coordinating business towards designated customers in Poland. The role involves acting as the key point of contact for energy and pulp mill clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and high-quality service.

What You Will Do

Sell improvement and maintenance projects, expert field services, workshop services, agreements, and spare parts within Valmet scope. Lead sales projects in co-operation with internal stakeholders and support customers by identifying their needs and responding quickly with solutions.

We are looking for a person who is open, able, and willing to work with different kinds of people. You should have a strong technical background in the energy sector, minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or project management positions, and strong communication and commercial discussion skills.

Requirements

  • Strong technical background (Bachelor/Master) in energy sector (Thermal Power Plants, Steam Boilers, Flue Gas Cleaning)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or project management positions
  • Strong understanding of Energy Industry
  • Willingness to travel in Poland (30 to 60% depending on your location)
  • Passionate about Sales
  • Good skills in communication and commercial discussions
  • Awareness in contract law with hands-on experience negotiating complex project contracts
  • High level of commitment and proactive approach
  • Fluent spoken and written Polish and English, other languages are an asset
