Role Overview
The Sales Engineer will be part of the Hach’s Municipal & General Industry Business, focusing on building strategic relationships with key accounts in Peninsular Malaysia. This role will develop a network based on credibility, quality solutions, and long-term relationships.
What You Will Do
Drive growth in business to key customers, develop comprehensive account plans, understand the water technology space, and maintain sales documentation. Attend networking events, conduct market research, and lead voice-of-the-customer interviews.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical/chemistry/applied chemistry/microbiology/biotechnology/physics background
- Proven 2+ years’ experience with sales responsibilities in a B2B space (preferably in a water-related business)
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales plans
- Self-starter and must be comfortable working independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An eye for detail with a bias for action
- Teamwork and ability to work across cultures, locations, and business teams
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Conviction of thought and ability to persuade others
- Excellent presentation skills and competence in MS office tools
