Role Overview

The Sales Manager, Northeast Region is responsible for leading and developing a team of outside sales representatives to drive profitable revenue growth, customer retention, and market expansion across the region. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on sales support, partnering with team members to strengthen customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Lead, coach, and develop a team of outside sales representatives across the Northeast region. Drive revenue growth through customer retention, account expansion, and new business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Technical Science, Chemistry, or a related field
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience with a demonstrated track record of revenue growth and customer relationship management
  • Previous sales leadership, team lead, or people management experience
  • Experience coaching, developing, and motivating sales professionals to achieve performance goals
  • Strong understanding of consultative selling and solution-based sales strategies
  • Proven ability to analyze sales data, pipeline metrics, and market trends to drive business decisions
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of manufacturer, distributor, and end-user relationships
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM platforms such as Salesforce
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to travel throughout the Northeast region and maintain strong customer and employee engagement
