Role Overview
Waters is seeking a Field Sales Engineer – Systems/Instruments to support the growth of their businesses across South China. The role involves bringing Waters’ products and services to the market, understanding customers’ business and growth plans, and converting that into a solution and offering from Waters.
What You Will Do
Preparing business plans, territory plans, reports, and product solution documents for customers; executing customer demonstrations; collaborating with departments to ensure customer success; managing product mix and pricing; and adhering to Health, Safety, and Environment requirements.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in analytical technologies, especially LC and MS, and experience in a laboratory with a background in chromatography and mass spectrometry. They will be action-oriented, have sound communication and presentation skills, and be highly organized.
Requirements
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in scientific area such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry
- Technical knowledge and practical solution selling experience, ideally in LC/MS/Informatics/LC-MS
- Experience in a laboratory, with a background in chromatography and mass spectrometry
- Exposure within relevant field/industry
- Strong technical background in analytical technologies, especially LC and MS
