Job description

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It’s your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Qualifications
Job responsibilities

  • Execute the regional business cadence by leading operational reviews and establishing structured frameworks for ongoing financial and performance tracking.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis including budget development, expense forecasting, and equipment life cycle costing to extract actionable business insights.
  • Build scalable data pipelines and models using engineering best practices to provide data-driven solutions for complex regional operational challenges.
  • Collaborate as a strategic thought partner with technical and business stakeholders to identify challenges and define key metrics for success.
  • Drive continuous performance improvement by tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while ensuring local site operations remain aligned with corporate strategic objectives.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 5 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, performing statistical analysis.
  • Experience evaluating safety in engineering, design solutions, and implementing systems to manage risk.

Preferred qualifications

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Ability to identify key issues, gather and analyze large data sets to support hypotheses, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to create workable project plans including project scope.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
