A global engineering solutions principal is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to support business growth across industrial and environmental applications. This role focuses on managing key accounts, developing new opportunities, and delivering technical solutions to customers.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by developing and executing account and market strategies.
- Manage and expand relationships with key customers in industrial and infrastructure sectors.
- Identify new project opportunities, tenders, and business pipelines.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and conduct product presentations to customers.
- Work closely with internal technical and service teams to deliver solutions.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine sales approach.
- Maintain sales forecasts, pipeline tracking, and reporting.
- Support customer engagements including site visits and technical discussions.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 4 years experience in technical sales within analytical instruments, water treatment, or environmental solutions.
- Experience dealing with industrial clients, utilities, or infrastructure-related projects is advantageous.
- Strong ability to handle technical discussions and translate customer needs into solutions.
- Good communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-driven and comfortable in a client‑facing role.
- Willing to travel for customer meetings and project support.
