We are looking for a Data Analyst Power BI (Research-Economics) – Hybrid! The role supports small businesses in your community and across the country, and you will have a hand in shaping the economy and future of the country.
Requirements
- Proficiency in dimensional modeling including star and snowflake schema design
- Knowledge of Power BI (PL300 certification is an asset)
- Knowledge of SQL, DAX and Power Query
- Expertise in Microsoft office 365 suite for word processing, spreadsheets, and graphs
- Experience or knowledge of statistical analysis is an asset (R, Python, SPSS, etc.)
- Previous experience with survey data is an asset
- Commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to work well with minimum supervision with the capability to self-learn
- Good interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English language is a requirement (written, oral, and reading); French is an asset
- Desire to learn more about the small business sector and its role in the Canadian economy
