Senior Sales Engineer

Role Overview

In this role, you will be developing new business and expanding OEM market share in the region mainly in Penang Region (Northern) Malaysia as well support other SEA countries on demand. The work model for the role is hybrid.

What You Will Do

Drive regional sales across B&R’s full product range by pursuing new opportunities, expanding customer base through target accounts, cold calling, enquiry generation, and marketing initiatives. Achieve sales budgets at existing accounts through exceptional support, introduction of new/existing products and services, and by understanding customer requirements, market segments, and trends to deliver tailored technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent
  • 3-5 years progressive customer service or direct marketing experience preferably in electrical /automation industry
  • Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills
  • Strong attention to details, possessing a team working aptitude and interested in preventing errors and solving problems
  • Must work well under pressure, be able to juggle many projects simultaneously, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skill to influence both internally and externally
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills
