Role Overview
The Business Development Specialist, Data Centers, creates long-term value by building mutually beneficial relationships with decision-makers and specifiers in the data center sector. They engage in conferences, tradeshows, events, social media, and project discussions to develop brand awareness and market expansion.
What You Will Do
Represent the BSPS organization, add and update key accounts and partners data, use CRM to log interactions, develop business plans, and collaborate with the sales team.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree, 2+ years of successful outside sales experience, and proven customer development skills. They should be able to navigate executive levels of large customers and have experience working with architects, engineers, and other specifiers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of successful outside sales experience
- Proven customer development skills
- Experience with CRM software
- Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 50%
