Global Events Manager

Join BAE Systems as a Global Events Manager to support the creation and delivery of events from inception to onsite management, including exhibitions, conferences, and corporate events worldwide. As a key member of the Communications & Marketing team, you will drive awareness and business growth, and gain exposure to a wide range of stakeholders. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity with a competitive salary and a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

Requirements

  • Forecast, plan and deliver a high volume of complex exhibitions, conferences, and BAE Systems–owned events worldwide
  • Manage the procurement process around each event, including setting up suppliers, raising purchase orders, and managing budgets
  • Provide briefs and scope of project requirements and managing the project with suppliers right through to post event reports
  • Identify risks and propose solutions to help drive continuous improvement and improve efficiency
