Role Overview
The Business Development Market Leader (BDML) is responsible for driving, monitoring, and improving sales performance for their assigned markets or practice areas. They will execute strategies for business development in their market/practice, aligned with the Firm’s overall strategy and market approach. The BDML will supervise, provide leadership, mentor, and manage performance for their direct reports.
What You Will Do
Develops and executes market growth plans, identifies targets, and develops business development activities. Facilitates regular meetings with Market Managing Principals/Segment Leaders to report on business development results. Collaborates with marketing and other departments to improve sales and marketing effectiveness.

Requirements
- Bachelors degree OR ten (10) or more years of business development experience in a professional services environment
- Eight (8) or more years of business development experience in a professional services environment
- Prior experience managing a staff of business development/marketing professionals
- Prior experience working in professional services direct sales industry or in development role at financial services firms
