Role Overview

Boise Cascade is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to initiate sales, take orders, and meet customer needs. The role involves contacting customers, coordinating inventory, and communicating with customer service representatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous process improvement.

What You Will Do

The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for initiating sales, taking orders, anticipating and meeting customer needs, and coordinating customer deliveries. They will also assist outside sales staff and product managers, and assist in developing and executing marketing programs.

The ideal candidate will have a college degree or equivalent work experience, and knowledge of building products is a plus. They will be able to understand and apply mathematical calculations, have effective communication skills, and be able to work independently or with teams.
