Business Development Manager – Aviation Agencies

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity exists for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to help grow a leading aviation and charter services operation in Papua New Guinea. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, expanding charter service revenue, and growing agency and corporate partnerships.

What You Will Do

Identify and secure new business opportunities, build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, develop and execute business development strategies, establish and grow relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, and achieve agreed revenue growth and business development targets.

The ideal candidate will possess 5–10+ years’ experience in business development, commercial management, account management or charter sales, strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, and experience preparing proposals, tenders and commercial submissions.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years’ experience in business development, commercial management, account management or charter sales
  • Strong experience developing new business and managing key client relationships
  • Proven success in achieving sales and revenue growth targets
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Experience preparing proposals, tenders and commercial submissions
  • Ability to analyse market trends and develop growth strategies
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
