Role Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key contributor to the FP&A supply chain team that provides exceptional planning, analytical, and reporting support to executives. The role plays an important part in business partnering and building relationships with the Supply Chain and Transportation team, the broader Finance function and other stakeholders to understand results and provide exceptional insights.

What You Will Do

Provide excellent support to executives by preparing accurate and timely budgets and forecasts, monitoring results versus budget/forecast, and providing a thorough analysis and investigating variances while identifying risks and opportunities with a focus on providing meaningful/actionable insights. Produce insightful, meaningful, and analytical commentary and reporting that can assist financial and non-financial stakeholders to facilitate decision making.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, or business-related discipline
  • Currently pursuing or have obtained an accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in a business or financial analysis role
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Experience with building and improving financial models
  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, HFM, Data visualization tools (Power BI), SQL and Supply Chain experience is an asset
