Role Overview
This is a hunter-farmer role that combines new business development with deep account ownership. The HoReCa Sales Manager is the primary commercial face of our client in Kenya’s premium foodservice market — driving revenue growth while protecting margin, credit discipline, and service standards that Kenya’s top hotels and restaurants demand.
What You Will Do
Build and maintain a structured pipeline of HoReCa prospects across Nairobi and surrounding regions, open new accounts, conduct kitchen visits, product trials, sampling events, and chef demos, take, validate, and follow through on orders, resolve service issues, and conduct regular structured review meetings with key accounts.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have direct HoReCa sales experience, meat industry and cold chain expertise, product and cuts knowledge, chef order management skills, and margin and credit discipline. They will be self-driven, have strong negotiation skills, commercial literacy, and a service mindset.
