Role Overview

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be the face of the Splunk brand, introducing our solutions to prospective customers and accelerating your sales career. You’ll work closely with our sales organization and clients, primarily from our Tokyo office, to identify and engage new business opportunities.

What You Will Do

Proactively reach out to target accounts, qualify leads, and coordinate appointments between prospects and account executives. Build strong customer relationships and leverage various communication channels to drive demand and contribute directly to Splunk’s growth.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience as an SDR, BDR, or in a related function within the IT industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese (native level).
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and maintain high ethical standards.
  • Experience using CRM systems; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Ability to commute to the Tokyo office (no mandatory in-office days; attendance is voluntary).
