Role Overview

As a Solutions Engineer at Splunk, you’ll be the trusted technical advisor to our customers, helping them understand the value of their data and develop their digital transformation journey.

What You Will Do

Deliver clear presentations, showcase Splunk solutions, lead Proof of Concept projects, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and develop presales materials.

Requirements

• 3+ years of pre-sales or solutions engineering experience with an enterprise software vendor
• Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Big Data, Security, Application Performance Management, Operational Intelligence, or Business Intelligence/Web Analytics
• Experience with UNIX (HP-UX, Solaris, AIX), Linux, and Windows
• Experience working with application environments and machine data sources (logs, security, network, and performance data)
• Experience developing ROI models and customer value cases
