Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and technically strong Sr. Sales Engineer to support enterprise sales engagements and help customers adopt Cohesity’s modern data security and management platform.
What You Will Do
As a Sr Sales Engineer, you will partner closely with Account Executives to drive new customer opportunities and expansions by delivering tailored technical solutions.

Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience in pre-sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting
- Proven experience in infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud platforms in enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies
- Working knowledge of data security concepts
- Familiarity with competitive technologies
- Experience supporting proofs of concept, evaluations, and technical decision processes
- Ability to translate technical architecture into clear customer value and business outcomes
- Experience partnering with Account Executives to support complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools
- Understanding of enterprise buying processes and deal dynamics
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Collaborative mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
- Industry certifications in cloud, data, or adjacent technologies are a plus
- English language proficiency
