Role Overview
The Area Sales Manager DACH is responsible for commercial overall responsibility and personnel management of Sales Managers for the region Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The role includes managing a heterogeneous sales model with direct sales in Germany, a freelancer structure in Austria, and a distribution model in Switzerland. The position is responsible for achieving sales and margin targets.
What You Will Do
Building and managing a reliable sales funnel, closing key deals, and active management of tenders. Leadership, coaching, and development of the sales team. Consistent implementation of value selling and TCO argumentation. Expansion of new customers and development of existing accounts.
Why It Might Be a Fit
At least 10 years of professional experience in medical technology, several years of leadership experience in sales, and proven success in sales and margin growth. Experience with complex sales cycles and tenders, understanding of hospital structures and reimbursement (DRG), and strong closing orientation and entrepreneurial thinking.
