Principal Product Marketing Manager – Observability

Role Overview

We are a team of creative technologists who live at the intersection of engineering and storytelling. We craft narratives that connect the what, how, and why of our technology — from major product launches to minor releases, video tutorials to interacting with and influencing analysts. We drive defining the core message, aligning the company, and telling narratives that stick.

What You Will Do

Own messaging and positioning: Craft differentiated, compelling narratives for Elastic Observability that resonate with both practitioners and decision makers. Drive go-to-market strategy end-to-end: Define and lead GTM for new launches and campaigns from strategy through execution and track metrics. Enable the field: Build training and content that empowers sales, solutions engineering, and customer success to tell the Elastic story with confidence.

Requirements

• Direct experience with Observability, DevOps, or cloud-native infrastructure use cases
• Curiosity about the ‘how’ of technology, paired with the storytelling instinct to explain the ‘why’ to any audience
• A track record of crafting engaging content through blog posts, presentations, demos, videos that makes technical ideas accessible and compelling
• Strong communication skills, comfortable presenting to audiences of all sizes, from an intimate field briefing to a conference keynote
• Experience collaborating across a highly cross-functional, globally distributed team
