About the role

As part of our ambitious growth strategy, Employment Hero is looking for a driven and competent Senior Sales Operations Analyst. This pivotal role will work in tandem with the Sales Leadership team, providing complete operational, analytical, and planning support. You will be instrumental in accomplishing strategic, tactical, and commercial objectives, contributing significantly to our rapid growth.

As a Senior Sales Operations Analyst, you will be given the opportunity to solve complex problems and spearhead initiatives aligned with our strategic commercial objectives. We are seeking someone who relishes taking ownership of challenges, innovating solutions, and demonstrating their capability to work independently.

You will report to the Senior Sales Operations Manager, working alongside a dynamic and high performing team of Sales Operations Analysts aligned to each market, Commercial Insights Analysts, Sales Support Specialists and Sales Operations Delivery professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted commercial business partner to the sales leaders, offering comprehensive operational, commercial planning, and analytical support.
  • Participate actively in strategic decision-making through analytics, quantitative insight, and business acumen.
  • Leverage a deep understanding of relevant markets and our business to identify key opportunities for improved sales performance and market growth.
  • Deliver individual market and consolidated enterprise business improvement initiatives, processes and projects to meet strategic objectives.
  • Analyse and improve our go-to-market process, using best practice pipeline management techniques coupled with new & existing technologies to improve funnel management & close rates.
  • Analyse data and build commercial reporting, with a focus on driving automation and self-service at the senior leadership level (salesforce, tableau)
  • Assist with the design, implementation, and utilisation of the sales tech stack, support tools and processes.

Requirements

  • Experience working in an agile, fast-paced environment, with a bias for action and flexibility to adapt to changes within the business and market.
  • Previous experience working with sales or other commercial/GTM business functions at the Senior Leadership level.
  • Prior Sales Operations or Revenue Operations experience within a B2B / B2B2C SaaS environment is favourable.
  • Previous experience working on international market growth initiatives or strategies is advantageous
  • Experience working with Direct Sales / Partnerships teams is advantageous
  • Scrum experience is desirable.
  • Creative and solutions-focused problem solver, keen business sense, and ability to identify areas of opportunity, develop solutions, and execute with a high degree of autonomy
  • Proven ability to apply First Principles thinking, coupled with excellent judgement, and decision-making ability.
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills with the ability to present commercial information clearly and concisely.
  • Extensive experience working with Salesforce and Excel/Google Sheets
  • Familiarity with sales & marketing technologies such as Gong, Outreach, LeanData, ZoomInfo / Cognism, Docusign, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar is very advantageous.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Tableau and/or similar technologies is desirable.
  • Some experience working with Confluence and Jira is advantageous
