Role Overview
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for generating high-quality, sales-ready pipeline by identifying, engaging, qualifying, and securing discovery meetings with qualified government decision-makers. BDRs play a critical role in expanding Granicus’ footprint by partnering closely with Field Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations.
What You Will Do
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quota targets for qualified sales meetings, build and execute a territory plan, generate pipeline through inbound lead qualification and strategic outbound prospecting, and maintain a clean, accurate, and current Salesforce pipeline.

Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Work and/or internships experience in sales or marketing
- Degree in business, communications, or another related field
- Ability to meet and/or exceed set sales and activity metrics
- Ability to build strong client relationships
- Effective problem solving, time management, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office products
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM Software preferred
