Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Manager for our growing operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is able to keep a positive attitude under pressure and while juggling multiple priorities. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing sales efforts within assigned territory by working as an intermediary between Monarch Operations staff and prospective clients.

What You Will Do

The Business Development Manager will interface with Operations management to develop, present, and negotiate the recommended portfolio of services to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction. They will also manage opportunities through a client database, develop contacts and prospects, generate job estimates and bid proposals, and maintain relationships with key clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Horticulture, or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years related work experience
  • At least 3 years B2B sales experience
  • Valid driver license issued by the state where employed
  • Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) and/or other relevant licenses a plus
