Role Overview

Join the IPG Team as a Business Development Specialist in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will reside in Houston and have 4-7 years of business development or sales experience in a related field. The role involves being the market and application expert for assigned products, pursuing new business opportunities, and coordinating with Territory Managers and Director of Sales.

What You Will Do

Act as the solution expert for markets and applications, promote IPG program and product solutions, and manage sales cycles to close business. Coordinate with Territory Business Managers and Director of Sales to service closed business and partner with distributors to identify complex end user opportunities.

Requirements

  • BA or BS Degree from accredited university or college
  • 4-7 years business development or sales experience in a related field

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must demonstrate strong and consistent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have a positive ‘customer service’ mindset – team player
