Marketing Manager, Academic Health Systems (AHS)

Role Overview

The Marketing Manager of Academic Health Systems will partner with cross-functional teams to create a KOL engagement model for aligned prioritized Academic Health Systems. This role will require building relationships with KOLs and influencers, identifying organizational needs, and developing strategies to advance Johnson & Johnson MedTech Surgery competitiveness.

What You Will Do

Travel up to 40% to execute advisory boards, society meetings, customer visits, and site visits. Collaborate with Professional Education, FSO, specialty and platform Marketing, and KAM to create an enduring KOL influencer map and devise an actionable KOL engagement model.

This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, collaboration, project management, and organizational influence skills. Experience working with KOLs, residents, and fellows is highly preferred.

Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
• 3 years of relevant business experience in Sales/Marketing
• Experience in customer selling and interaction
• Ability to be on-site 3 times per week in the Raritan, NJ office and travel 40% or more
• Medical Device experience is required
• Experience working with the Ethicon product line is highly preferred
• Experience in Marketing and/or Professional Education is preferred
• Experience working with a large teaching hospital is highly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, collaboration, project management and organizational influence skills are required
