Business Development Trainee

Role Overview

The Leadership & Business Development Trainee Program is designed to develop the future business development executives and leaders of JX Enterprises. The trainee will go through a 6 month experiential training program that will provide them with the experience, skills, and tools necessary to solve client business and transportation challenges with JX’s value added solutions.

What You Will Do

As a Business Development Trainee, you will be responsible for working closely with other associates to identify clients and deliver a wide array of solutions to the industry. You will also be responsible for working in and growing your knowledge and skills within a specific department.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Associate’s degree in business, marketing, transportation, engineering or related field
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing, over the phone, and in person
• Comfortable soliciting new business and meeting new people
• Disciplined, with good organizational and time management skills
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to travel up to 25% with overnight stays within our 4 state service territory
• Intermediate experience with CRM systems and Google Drive
• Valid driver’s license required, Commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred or the ability and willingness to obtain a CDL
