Role Overview

The Sales Manager (SMB/MM) is responsible for motivating and coaching a team of Account Executive and Account Managers to exceed segment KPIs and ARR targets. The role involves mentoring, coaching, and supporting the sales team to deliver revenue goals.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include mentoring and coaching sales teams, monitoring statistics, supporting deal negotiations, conducting pipeline reviews, and identifying areas of improvement within the sales team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of Small-Medium and/or Mid-Market sales experience, with previous people management experience and a Bachelor degree or equivalent higher education experience being desirable.

  • Minimum 3 years Small-Medium and/or Mid-Market sales experience
  • Previous people management experience
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent higher education experience
  • Experience collaborating with Partner businesses and Channel sales teams
  • Familiarity with standard concepts and practices within the IT, Security or Cybersecurity industry
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
  • Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Infectious positive, can-do attitude
  • Possess strong negotiation experience and strategies
  • Ability to provide productive feedback and coaching to sales teams
