Role Overview

The Sr. Sales Engineer, Public Sector is responsible for identifying new client revenue opportunities and delivering the required results. The role requires technology and solution advisors with pragmatic experience in a particular security domain. The sales engineer will act as a solution consultant, discussing and presenting to senior members of a client team.

What You Will Do

Participate in sales conference calls and prospect visits, provide product demonstrations, and work with prospects at both a technical and business level to show how Levelblue’s security solutions can meet their business needs.

The Sr. Sales Engineer, Public Sector needs a depth of knowledge and experience in one or more of the following core domains: Security Consulting Services, Managed Security Services, Incident Response and/or Threat Detection. The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to interact and communicate with C-level personnel, technical leaders, and administrators.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience working in an end-user, consultative, or pre-sales capacity related to at least two of the following core domains: Network Security, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, Security Consulting, Incident Response, SIEM, Threat Detection, and Managed Security solutions.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in a methodical and disciplined manner.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences.
  • Technical understanding of incident response, computer forensics, network, endpoint, and/or application security.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with C-level personnel, technical leaders, and administrators.
  • English: Fluent
