Psychiatric Account Manager

Role Overview

Join Syneos Health as a Psychiatric Account Manager and build relationships with recognized experts and stakeholders in the therapeutic area, Community Mental Health Clinics, hospital/institutional systems, and integrated delivery networks (IDNs).

What You Will Do

Develop and drive relationships with target institutions and community accounts, achieve success in a complex selling environment, and use data tools and insights to determine business strategies.

The successful Psychiatric Account Manager will have 5+ years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals, psychiatric experience, and a working knowledge of the Schizophrenia field. They will also have established relationships in the geography and a proven track record of success in a high science competitive selling environment.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree required; Life Sciences preferred
• 5+ years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Healthcare industry
• Psychiatric experience required
• Working knowledge of the Schizophrenia field strongly preferred
• CMHC account management and/or Hospital/Institutional experience strongly preferred
• Established relationships in the geography strongly preferred
• Knowledge of formulary approval process and driving formulary approvals preferred
• Must live near to territory boundaries
• Proven track record of success in a high science competitive selling environment
• Ability to identify key decision makers, develop positive relationships and strong customer dedication
• Proven track record of success in exceeding results
• Self-starter, highly motivated to succeed
• Strong communication, business analytics and account management skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
