Role Overview
As an Account Executive at Lightspeed Technologies, you will be responsible for developing and increasing sales revenue, building long-term relationships with teachers and students, and sharing vision and values with a company that has been the market leader in classroom audio solutions for over 25 years.
What You Will Do
You will handle incoming sales calls, explain the valued outcomes of Lightspeed solutions to new prospects, provide presentations, prepare quotes, prospect, cold call, and follow up with contacts and referrals.

Requirements
- Ability to travel across the territory regularly, and to other states occasionally
- Proficiency with relational selling and the Challenger Sales methodology
- Commitment to growing sales while adhering to Lightspeed’s Core Values
- Demonstrated ability to build a network of influencers and key decision-makers within the K-12 market in their territory
- Demonstrated ability to communicate a solutions-based message effectively, compellingly, and succinctly in both conversational and presentation formats
- Demonstrated ability to converse, prospect, and present in both in-person and virtual formats
- Demonstrated ability to create a territory plan that meets or exceeds yearly sales plan
- Knowledge and demonstrated fluency in classroom instructional technologies
- Proficient with MS Office, Outlook, Salesforce, Concur, Zoom, and other software solutions implemented by Lightspeed’s sales team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years outside sales, experience with K-12 education sales
- Experience using a CRM such as Salesforce
- Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record
