Role Overview

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales and collection activities in a designated area. They will set targets for dealers/retailers, achieve month-on-month sales and collection plans, and administer collection schemes to ensure outstanding is recovered. The role also involves identifying financially sound channel partners, proposing new channel appointments, and showcasing the value of the product portfolio to new dealers/retailers.

What You Will Do

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for setting targets for dealers/retailers, achieving month-on-month sales and collection plans, administering collection schemes, identifying financially sound channel partners, proposing new channel appointments, and showcasing the value of the product portfolio to new dealers/retailers. They will also conduct dealer/retailer meetings, monitor liquidation of products, and ensure that 70% of budgeted sales comes from super league dealers.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the industry, a B.Sc(Agri) degree, and strong sales and collection skills. They will be able to motivate super-league dealers to increase sales, conduct effective farmer meetings and product demonstrations, and train FDOs on how to organize effective farmer meetings and product demonstrations.
