Role Overview
Manage a sales territory of existing customers to achieve growth consistent with strategic goals. Establish strong relationships with customers through phone calls, identify and close additional business opportunities. Ideal candidate is self-motivated, personable, and ambitious.
What You Will Do
Manage a high volume of small accounts, learn Nexeo segments and product offerings, meet and exceed territorial sales goals, establish strong relationships with customers, drive sales through pre-calling, post call analysis, and follow-up communication.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ideal candidate has 1-2 years of solution-based selling experience, strong communication skills, and ability to adapt to changing priorities. Experience with SalesForce.com, manufacturing, distribution, and B2B sales is a plus.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or relevant experience
- 1-2 years of solution-based selling experience
- Relationship selling/consultative sales experience
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Demonstrated success in customer service and/or sales
- General Distribution, plastics, and/or chemical knowledge
- Experience with SalesForce.com, manufacturing, distribution, and B2B sales
