Role Overview
The Sales Director is responsible for meeting sales objectives in the assigned region, directing and coordinating sales activity, and developing project-specific sales strategies. The role involves overseeing a team of sales managers and supporting territory/customer coverage.
What You Will Do
Achieve sales objectives, initiate regional sales calls, develop sales and profitability strategies, instruct distributors and customers, and provide regional reporting. The role also involves investigating product complaints, participating in trade shows, and keeping track of sales leads and opportunities.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 10 years of oil and gas sales management experience, strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a home-based office. Significant domestic travel is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering or Material Science or Industrial Technology or Business Administration or any equivalent University technical degree)
- 10 years of Oil and Gas sales management experience
- Experience managing independent representatives and distributors
- Valid US drivers license and safe driving history
- Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel & PowerPoint
