Role Overview
We’re looking for a Technical Sales Engineer who thrives at the crossroads of engineering and customer engagement. In this remote role, you’ll serve as the technical backbone of our sales team, translating your knowledge of the electric utility world into winning proposals, compelling demonstrations, and trusted customer relationships.
What You Will Do
Provide product & technical support, lead and contribute to Bid & Proposal activities, develop and deliver product demonstrations, and represent NovaTech’s product portfolio at industry trade shows and exhibitions.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
- 4+ years of electric utility automation experience
- Hands-on experience with Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) in the utility space
- Solid working knowledge of SCADA protocols: DNP3, Modbus, IEC-61850
- Familiarity with substation architecture, network communications, and serial communications
- Experience managing live chats, field testing, and troubleshooting
- Programming experience in Lua, Python, or C/C++
- Technical knowledge of microgrid technologies, renewable energy systems, and energy management
