Role Overview

The Marketing Manager of Academic Health Systems will partner with cross-functional teams to create a KOL engagement model for aligned prioritized Academic Health Systems. This role will require building relationships with KOLs and influencers, collaborating with teams to identify organizational needs, and delivering against specified budgets and timeframes.

What You Will Do

Travel up to 40% to execute advisory boards, society meetings, customer visits, and site visits. Collaborate with teams to create an enduring KOL influencer map and devise an actionable KOL engagement model. Build, engage, and activate an extensive network of KOLs from priority AHS.

This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, collaboration, project management, and organizational influence skills. Experience in customer selling and interaction, medical device experience, and knowledge of brand marketing, digital marketing, and marketing communications are preferred.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • 3 years of relevant business experience in Sales/Marketing
  • Experience in customer selling and interaction
  • Ability to be on-site 3 times per week in the Raritan, NJ office and travel 40% or more
  • Medical Device experience
  • Experience working with the Ethicon product line
  • Experience in Marketing and/or Professional Education
  • Experience working with a large teaching hospital
  • Experience working with KOLs, residents, and fellows
