Role Overview
We’re looking for a proactive, strategic, and results-driven Enterprise Account Manager to accelerate Proofpoint’s growth across the Romanian territory. This position will report to the Sr Manager, Eastern Europe and will own and grow a portfolio of named enterprise accounts, combining new business acquisition (main focus) with expansion of existing relationships.
What You Will Do
Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships within enterprise accounts (2,500+ end users) across multiple verticals, drive new business acquisition while expanding relationships with existing customers, and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations.

You’ll work closely with a dedicated Sales Engineer, Channel Partners, and internal stakeholders to develop strategies that protect customers from advanced threats and enable long-term success. You’ll need to have a track record of exceeding quotas, winning new logos, and leveraging channel partnerships.
Requirements
- Preferably bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proven success in enterprise technology sales, ideally with SaaS and cybersecurity solutions
- Track record of exceeding quotas, winning new logos, and leveraging channel partnerships
- Strong executive selling skills (CISO, CIO, CMO) and ability to influence complex buying cycles
- Experience closing deals in the €100K–€1M range
- Familiarity with formal sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger, TAS, Command of the Message)
- Fluency in Romanian and English
