Role Overview
Ramsay Health Care is seeking a Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across our Melbourne Metro & South East hospital network by building and strengthening our Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) pipeline. This role plays a critical part in shaping the future clinical and commercial performance of these facilities by identifying, recruiting, onboarding, and retaining high-value VMOs across key specialties and emerging clinical areas.
What You Will Do
Lead the end-to-end development of VMO growth strategy across assigned catchments, identify and convert high-potential VMOs, build and maintain long-term relationships with registrars and specialists, and leverage partnerships to generate leads and market intelligence.

Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Health Administration, or related discipline

- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue or growth targets
- Experience managing long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder engagement environments
- Strong background in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or complex B2B sectors
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and develop business cases
