Role Overview
This role will lead the go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging for solutions within Elsevier’s Academic Leaders and Funders (ALF) portfolio. The Senior Manager, Product Marketing will serve as the voice of the customer within the product marketing process, translating complex technical features into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with academic institutions, researchers, and publishers.
What You Will Do
Develop strategic value propositions and messaging frameworks, tailor narratives to distinct audiences, lead GTM strategy and execution for new features, releases, and solution enhancements, and train sales and marketing colleagues on product value and market positioning.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in B2B/SaaS product or solutions marketing, with a proven track record of delivering portfolio GTM and launches to lift adoption and revenue. They will have demonstrated mastery of institutional buyers, academic researchers, and complex sales cycles, as well as technical and industry expertise in AI/GenAI, knowledge graphs, Machine Learning, and data platform integrations.
Requirements
- Proven 7+ years in B2B/SaaS product or solutions marketing in research data/analytics
- Demonstrated mastery of institutional buyers, academic researchers, and complex sales cycles
- Proven GTM leadership with Product, Revenue Enablement, and Segment Marketing
- Technical and industry expertise in AI/GenAI, knowledge graphs, Machine Learning, and data platform integrations
