Director of Strategic Finance & FP&A

Role Overview

We are seeking a Director of Strategic Finance & FP&A to join the Finance team at RentingCarz Holdings. This position is based out of our Medellín, Colombia office. As a key partner to leadership across sales, marketing, operations, customer service, IT, Product, and HR, you will provide financial expertise to support strategic decision-making across both channels.

What You Will Do

Serve as a financial business partner to commercial, operations, marketing, IT, Product, and HR leadership, providing analysis and recommendations to support resource allocation and investment decisions. Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency across entities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience across strategic finance, FP&A, consulting, or investment banking
• Exceptional analytical skills with proven ability to build and maintain complex financial operating models
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with BI tools (Amazon QuickSight, Looker, Power BI, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to navigate complex financial challenges
• Comfort working cross-functionally and communicating complex financial information to non-finance audiences
• Bias toward action, strong work ethic, and experience driving operational outcomes under tight timelines
• Strong leadership, relationship-building, business judgment, and communication skills
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
• Based in or willing to relocate to Medellín, Colombia
