Role Overview
Join our team as a Sales Engineer, where you’ll engage with customers via phone and email, collaborating with internal and external partners to meet their needs. You’ll conduct technical sales briefings and research customer specifications to tailor product solutions.
What You Will Do
Interpret and qualify customer-provided documents, manage part specific supply chains, estimate material, labor, and delivery options, and develop contract pricing templates.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We are looking for a sales engineer with 1-3 years of experience in the metal industry, a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent. Experience with SAP, CAD, and drafting is highly preferred.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of sales experience in the metal industry
- Print reading required
- CAD or drafting experience a plus
- Experience with SAP is highly preferred
- MS Office software skills required
- Working knowledge of geometry, strong math skills, and a technical aptitude
