Your mission should you choose to accept it.

As the Vice President of Sales at ScalePad, you will be a pivotal member of the leadership team, responsible exclusively for driving new customer acquisition (NCA). You will lead a growing team of 40 currently who are focused on expanding our market reach and accelerating growth. Your role will involve developing high-impact sales strategies, cultivating a high-performance solution-selling culture, and representing ScalePad in the IT Services channel.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive new customer acquisition (NCA).
  • Own the sales funnel from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring alignment between sales, product, and marketing teams.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts to the executive team and board of directors, influencing the strategic direction of the company.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard top sales talent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Coach team members through deal closures and pipeline management, enhancing their professional growth.

Sales Operations:

  • Develop and manage sales targets, growth metrics, and KPIs to drive revenue goals.
  • Create and execute go-to-market plans and elevate the necessary sales tools.
  • Develop and refine the sales compensation plan to incentivize high performance.

Client and Partner Relations:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with potential clients and key industry partners to expand new business opportunities.
  • Represent ScalePad in the IT Services channel, engaging with partners, the partner advisory council (PAC), marketing programs, and various communities.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously track, measure, and evaluate sales funnel activities, providing insights to the executive team.
  • Develop and document ScalePad’s sales processes, creating a comprehensive sales playbook.

Marketing Collaboration:

  • Support the development, implementation, and management of ScalePad’s marketing plan.
  • Contribute to the creation of sales and marketing materials for ScalePad’s products and services.
  • Represent ScalePad at key industry events, promoting our brand and solutions.

Cultural Contribution:

  • Actively contribute to the growth and development of ScalePad’s company culture.

Qualifications.

  • Proven Leadership: 10+ years of experience in developing and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Solution Selling Expertise: Demonstrated ability to identify customer problems and align them with our solutions.
  • Strategic Development: Experience in crafting strategies, plans, and sales tools to drive growth.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with IT Channel, SaaS, and subscription business models.
