Senior Manager, Healthcare Sales Operations at Microsoft

The Senior Manager, Healthcare Sales Operations, will provide commercial leadership and execution support to the Healthcare sales leadership team. The focus of the role is to take a proactive commercial leadership role in accelerating the new net bookings pipeline, drive accurate forecasting and maximize booking attainment while partnering with Healthcare Division and other cross-functional teams to drive increased sales productivity across Healthcare Sales.

  • Leads a business analytics team focused on Power BI dashboard/reports to support & drive sales performance and achieve fiscal goals.
  • Coordinating annual planning activities for Nuance’s Healthcare customer base which includes but is not limited to financial analysis, metrics and modeling of sales productivity, quota assignment, coverage models, trending, to provide insight and guidance.
  • Drive best practices of sales operations planning and guides others in their adherence
  • Communicates risk and growth opportunities throughout the planning process, and provides detailed recommendations for improvement to sales leadership
  • Leverages qualitative and quantitative methods across Segmentation, Territory Management, Quota Management to drive sales operations fundamentals across segments.
  • Partner with Sales Finance to ensure that key operating and financial metrics are monitored, develop operational and financial models (staffing, capacity planning, etc.)
  • Partner with Sales and divisional leadership to define and evolve the sales strategy in harmony with the divisional strategy to maximize long and short-term commercial achievement.
  • Collaborates with and manages relevant stakeholders and team members (e.g., Sales leadership, Sales Finance, Human Resources) to align, refine, and improve sales operations planning and execution.
  • Act as ‘Trusted Advisor’ and Partners with Sales teams, owners, and other operation groups through effective sales team communication and driving cross functional objectives to resolve issues across organizations in support of bookings and revenue.
  • Engage sales to identity and isolate barriers to sales productivity through dashboard / reporting capabilities

Qualifications


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Accounting, Information Systems, Social Sciences, or related field AND 10+ years experience in or leading sales operations, project management, analytics, compensation, sales performance analytics, finance/business analyst, process improvement, business development, consulting, finance, marketing, or a related field

    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years people management experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 years’ experience in Sales planning activities
  • 5 years’ experience in Data modelling / management; PowerBI data visualization and storytelling
  • 5 years stakeholder management experience (e.g., requirements gathering, business insight)
  • Experience of Healthcare provider market (and Payor/(Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) insight)
Sales Operations M5 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,200 – $194,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $142,200 – $213,200 per year.
