Role Overview
The Marketing Manager will own SmartPA’s brand voice and ensure consistency across all channels and touchpoints. They will develop and maintain clear messaging tailored to different client personas and act as the internal guardian of how SmartPA presents itself. The role will involve leading multi-channel lead generation campaigns, managing paid social and search activity, and building and optimising email nurture programmes. The Marketing Manager will also take ownership of HubSpot as the marketing source of truth and work closely with the sales team to ensure marketing activity translates into qualified pipeline.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include owning the content calendar, briefing freelance content writers, reviewing and editing content output, designing and executing lead generation campaigns, managing paid social and search activity, building and optimising email nurture programmes, and taking ownership of HubSpot. The Marketing Manager will also monitor competitor activity, stay current on digital marketing trends, and identify new channels and formats to consider.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally within professional services, SaaS, or a similarly client-focused sector. They will have proven experience managing HubSpot, a strong understanding of content marketing strategy, and experience running lead generation campaigns across digital channels. The Marketing Manager will be commercially minded, with excellent written communication skills and the ability to brief and manage external creative resource effectively.
