Role Overview
Manage business development, sales, and acquisition strategies to drive revenue growth across North America. Lead regional operations teams and collaborate with financial planning and analysis teams. Develop sustainable acquisition plans, bids, and business cases to maximize business and profit growth.
What You Will Do
Develop qualified sales, acquisition bids, and conversion targets. Plan, evaluate, and lead strategies to identify and respond to new business opportunities. Manage bids, conversion plans, and business cases to achieve business growth and maximize revenue opportunities.
Why It Might Be a Fit
7-10 years of business development experience with a proven track record of closing deals. Excellent knowledge of sales techniques, methods, and best practices. Experience with consultative sales and selling to C-level. Ability to travel.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 7-10 years business development experience with a proven track record of closing deals
- Excellent knowledge of effective sales techniques, methods, and best practices
- Experience with consultative sales and selling to C-level
- Detailed knowledge of issues, emerging trends, and developments related to acquisitions, bids, and conversions within the transportation industry
- Financial knowledge in the areas of profit and loss, budget management, bid models, etc.
- Knowledge of risk assessment/management techniques
- Experience managing project teams involved in multiple, concurrent projects
- Proven expertise in working with stakeholders across organizational lines to foster collaborative relationships and partnerships
- Working knowledge of information technology, enabling tools and technologies
