Business Development Manager

Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you will contribute to the development and execution of Svitzer’s growth strategy and commercial priorities. You will develop and maintain trusted relationships with existing and prospective customers, and represent Svitzer professionally in customer interactions, industry forums, and business development activities.

What You Will Do

Your key responsibilities will include contributing to the development and execution of Svitzer’s growth strategy, developing and maintaining trusted relationships with customers, representing Svitzer professionally, leading the pursuit of growth opportunities, and monitoring industry developments to identify opportunities and risks.

Requirements

• 5+ years in business development, commercial management, tender management or strategic growth roles
• Demonstrated experience identifying, developing and securing complex commercial opportunities
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including pricing, business case development and investment evaluation
• Experience developing customer value propositions and solution-based selling approaches
• Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and translate data-driven insights into actionable plans
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing and presenting business cases, commercial recommendations and strategic insights to senior stakeholders
